Boilers, pressure vessels, gas cylinders, and industrial pipelines are critical infrastructure for industrial production and public safety; the integrity of their welds and base materials directly impacts life and property. RAYSOV’s DR Business Unit, leveraging its independently developed high‑frequency, high‑voltage X‑ray source and the patented Raylion image‑filtering technology, offers highly sensitive digital radiographic inspection solutions for a wide range of pressure‑bearing components, from small‑diameter welded pipes to thick‑walled vessels.

  • Small-diameter pipes and pipeline fittings:

For boiler welded tubes with outer diameters ranging from 32 mm to 76 mm—used in economizers, superheaters, reheaters, and other components—the system accurately detects seven typical weld defects, including cracks, lack of penetration, lack of fusion, root concavity, undercuts, and circular as well as linear flaws.

  • Membrane Water-Cooled Walls and Tube Screens:

It efficiently detects the continuity and fusion quality of fillet welds between flat steel and pipes, covering both power boiler and waste‑heat boiler manufacturing and installation sites.

  • Manifolds and thick-walled pressure-bearing components:

Detect internal defects in the longitudinal and circumferential welds of the cylinder body and in the fillet welds at the nozzle attachments, meeting the radiographic sensitivity requirements for pressure‑bearing equipment welds as specified in international standards.

  • Gas cylinders and steel cylinders:

It covers liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, LNG vehicle-mounted cylinders, cryogenic insulated cylinders, fire‑extinguishing cylinders, industrial cylinders, and high‑pressure hydrogen storage cylinders, detecting defects such as lack of fusion, incomplete penetration, cracks, undercutting, porosity, and slag inclusions in the circumferential welds, thereby ensuring consistent quality in both mass production and periodic inspections.

  • Industrial Piping and Tanks:

Provide on-site in-service inspection solutions for the circumferential welds of pressure pipelines at chemical plant sites and oil-and-gas stations, as well as for tank shell plates.
