Core Features and Advantages of the Product

Industrial-grade design, supporting 24-hour continuous and stable operation.

Features: The system’s core components—including the X-ray tube, high-voltage generator, flat-panel detector, mechanical drive, and cooling unit—are all engineered to industrial-grade standards and subjected to rigorous aging tests, enabling continuous operation for 24 hours. Operates continuously and is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of high‑intensity production lines.

Advantages: The RAYSOV high-frequency, high-voltage generator employs a dual closed-loop control system and discharge‑impact protection, significantly extending the service life of the X-ray tube. With no need for frequent shutdowns for maintenance, it enables users to achieve round‑the‑clock production. Continuous monitoring of quantities significantly improves overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

AWR fully automatic tube-feeding inspection, seamlessly integrated with the production line.

Features: The system integrates AWR’s automatic pipe feeding, automatic weld‑joint positioning, and automatic pipe clamping and rotation functions. It supports interfacing with MES/MOM systems to retrieve steel pipe information, and enables the weld seam to automatically advance to the inspection station. It automatically discharges upon completion of testing and is compatible with existing production lines.

Advantages: Without manual intervention, steel tubes continuously and automatically enter and exit the system, with 3–5 weld‑seam images displayed on a single screen. This significantly reduces operator workload and enables online, continuous inspection of batch‑produced boiler welded tubes. Significantly increase the inspection cycle time.

Automatic top‑lifting combined with friction‑wheel rotation ensures full circumferential coverage of the weld seam.

Features: The inspection station is equipped with an automatic clamping and rotation system, featuring a friction‑wheel design driven by a servo motor. It can clamp and rotate steel pipes with outer diameters ranging from 32 to 76 mm and weighing up to 1.2 tonnes per pipe, supporting indexing at 72°. Automatic rotation through five angles or multi-angle radiography; conveyor and rotation speeds are adjustable.

Advantages: The lifting‑and‑clamping design ensures stable gripping of steel pipes during inspection, preventing transport‑induced vibrations from degrading image quality. Soft friction wheels increase the contact area, enabling secure unilateral clamping without slippage and without damaging the pipe surface. 360° continuous rotation, combined with C‑arm dual‑wall dual‑image imaging, enables full‑circumferential, dead‑zone‑free inspection of circumferential welds.

    End-to-end data traceability

Features: The system supports automatic QR-code scanning to retrieve weld‑joint workpiece information from the MOM system, automatically configures ultrasonic testing acquisition parameters, and automatically generates image file names with embedded workpiece and operator details. Detection parameters are automatically uploaded to the Quality Cloud Management System after collection.

Advantages: Weld joint codes are automatically aligned, and files are automatically categorized and archived, completely eliminating manual data-entry errors. The entire inspection‑data workflow is fully traceable, meeting the stringent “one weld joint, one file” requirements of the special‑equipment industry. Management requirements provide the basis for quality traceability and accountability.

Automatic defect marking combined with dual monitoring of distance and angle ensures precise and rapid rework positioning.

Features: It integrates a defect‑marking device that automatically marks defects on the weld‑joint side based on intelligent recognition results; it is also equipped with distance and angle monitoring feedback units to quantitatively track the straight‑pipe travel distance and… Rotational angle.

Advantages: Defect locations are immediately apparent, enabling repair personnel to pinpoint them accurately without the need for a second NDT inspection, thereby significantly reducing rework time. Closed-loop monitoring of distance and angle ensures the repeatability of multi‑angle radiographic inspections. and consistency, providing a positional reference for automated inspection.

Raylion image enhancement filtering, making complex defects clearly discernible.

Features: Raylion’s image‑filtering feature, which integrates RAYSOV’s patented technology, supports dual‑scene image enhancement for both dynamic and static conditions.

Advantages: After intelligent enhancement, the defect features in boiler welded pipe welds—such as porosity, slag inclusions, cracks, lack of fusion, and incomplete penetration—exhibit sharper boundaries, effectively reducing operator visual fatigue and the rate of misjudgment. Image sensitivity has improved by an average of 0.6% to 0.8%, enabling the detection of even smaller defects in real-world inspections and helping companies achieve a higher level of quality control.
