Core Features and Advantages of the Product

A dedicated platform for casting inspection, compatible with a wide range of industrial applications.

    Specifically developed for the inspection of medium-sized castings, it integrates a multi‑dimensional, pressure‑rated X‑ray source, a large‑field‑of‑view amorphous‑silicon flat‑panel detector, and a five‑axis C‑arm mechanical system, forming a standardized inspection unit.
It can flexibly configure optimal radiographic parameters for various casting materials—such as aluminum, steel, and resin—meeting inspection requirements across multiple sectors, including precision machinery, automotive, power generation, and general industrial manufacturing. Its standardized platform design balances inspection accuracy with efficiency, making it an ideal solution for batch quality screening of medium-sized castings.

End-to-end proprietary core components ensure stable and reliable testing performance.

The core components—namely the X-ray tube and the high-frequency, high-voltage generator—are all independently developed by RAYSOV, enabling end-to-end in-house manufacturing from the radiation source to the detector.
There is no reliance on imported core components, ensuring supply-chain self‑reliance and controllability, while also providing more reliable lead times and after-sales service. Proprietary components are deeply integrated with the entire system, fully unlocking hardware potential and guaranteeing stable, consistent inspection performance even during prolonged, continuous operation.

An intelligent software platform that makes defects instantly visible.

It integrates self-developed image enhancement and processing software, featuring three core modules: Raylion image filtering, ADR automatic defect detection, and ASTM E505 standard spectrum comparison.
Raylion’s filtering technology effectively suppresses image noise, making defect edges in complex regions more distinct and easier to identify. The ADR automatic defect‑recognition module rapidly flags common defects such as porosity, slag inclusions, and looseness, reducing subjective errors and operator fatigue associated with manual inspection. With one‑click comparison against ASTM standard reference charts, the system enables operators to quickly perform qualitative and quantitative defect assessments in accordance with international standards, making it particularly well suited for high‑volume inspections of automotive components, electrical hardware, and other products subject to stringent testing requirements.

CNC fully automated inspection combined with formula‑based changeover makes it easy to handle batch‑size inspection tasks.

Equipped with a five-axis C-arm integrated with a rotary table, it supports teach‑in programming, automated inspection, and one‑click retrieval of recipe parameters.
For batches of workpieces with identical specifications, only a single teach‑in programming session is required; thereafter, the fully automated inspection process can be initiated with one click. The system automatically positions each axis to scan all designated measurement points, significantly reducing operator workload. During changeovers, pre‑stored recipes are recalled to swiftly adjust inspection parameters, minimizing line‑changeover downtime and enhancing inspection flexibility in multi‑product, small‑batch production environments.

Dual limit‑switch safety interlock + one‑click reporting, ensuring safety and a closed‑loop data system.

All motion axes are equipped with dual protection: electronic limit switches and mechanical hard stops; the system supports one-click automatic generation of test reports.
The dual‑limit interlock design ensures that the system cannot initiate radiation exposure unless both limit switches are properly engaged, thereby eliminating at the source the risk of equipment collisions or radiation leakage caused by operator error. Upon completion of inspection, the system automatically generates a comprehensive report containing defect annotations, process parameters, and evaluation results; the data can be directly archived or integrated with higher‑level quality management systems, establishing a closed‑loop quality‑management workflow from inspection to traceability.
